Sandersville, GA — E. Chandler McDavid, MD, and his team at Sandersville Family Practice are now officially part of Washington County Regional Medical Center (WCRMC). The family medicine office will remain at its current location: 205 Medical Arts Drive.
“The WCRMC family welcomes Dr. McDavid and his staff to our team,” said Pam Stewart, CEO of Washington County Regional Medical Center. “Dr. McDavid has a long-standing reputation for providing outstanding care to his patients. We share a common vision of ensuring access to high-quality, local health care for the people of this area and are thrilled to have him officially join our network.”
Patients will continue going to the same location for appointments and can expect the same exceptional care for both adults and children. Now, as part of WCRMC’s physician network, the practice and its patients will benefit from enhanced resources and support.
“As a long-time physician in this community, I am always seeking ways to improve the care we provide,” said Dr. McDavid. “Becoming part of WCRMC allows us to continue delivering exceptional care—with the strength of a trusted network behind us. The hospital has made impressive progress over the last two to three years, including financial growth, new services, and facility expansions. I’m excited to be a part of that momentum.”
WCRMC was recognized in July 2025 by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the 100 Great Community Hospitals. In the spring of 2025, the hospital broke ground on a new Emergency Department, expected to be completed in early 2026 – learn more at https://wcrmc.com/new-emergency-department-groundbreaking/
