Washington County Surgical Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our busy orthopedic practice. This is a multi-functional role that includes performing diagnostic X-rays, assisting with direct patient care, and supporting office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-rays following physician orders
- Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety
- Assist the orthopedic surgeon with exams and in-office procedures
- Obtain vital signs and document patient information in the EMR
- Prepare and sanitize exam rooms
- Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure care
- Assist with referrals, authorizations, and general office duties
- Maintain compliance with safety and confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (required)
- ARRT Certification (required)
- Current BLS Certification (required)
- Orthopedic or clinic experience preferred
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
