Washington County Regional Medical Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapists to join our growing Respiratory Therapy team. ✔️ Full-Time Night Shift
✔️ PRN (As Needed)
💨 What You’ll Do
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments and patient assessments
- Set up and monitor mechanical and non-invasive ventilators (NIV)
- Administer respiratory medications and oxygen therapy
- Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs), arterial punctures, and EKGs
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures, including intubations when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Ensure respiratory equipment is functioning safely and effectively
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department growth
🎓 Qualifications
- Current CRT/RCP or RRT license in the State of Georgia
- Current BLS Certification required
- Current ACLS Certification required
- Current PALS Certification required
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred
- Previous Respiratory Therapy experience preferred but not required
