Washington County Regional Medical Center (WCRMC) has proudly provided patient-centered care to our community for over 60 years. Our hospital is a licensed acute care facility with 56 beds and a 60-bed Extended Care Facility. We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Medical/Surgical Unit.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities available
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (must work alternate weekends)
- $10,000 Night Shift Sign-On Bonus (conditions apply)
- Work alongside a collaborative team of nurses, physicians, and support staff
Position Summary
The Medical/Surgical RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for all assigned patients during their shift. This role ensures safe, efficient, and patient-centered care while supporting unit operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all unit supplies and equipment efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other departments including Emergency, Radiology, and Lab
- Chart patient progress accurately and consistently
- Perform and order tests as appropriate
- Promote teamwork, communication, and high-quality patient care
- Perform other duties as assigned, including clerical or front desk support
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of Georgia (required)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to operate EMR and email systems efficiently
