Washington County Regional Medical Center is seeking dependable PRN Food Production Assistants to support our Dietary team. This position involves cooking and preparing patient, resident, and staff meals using standardized recipes and production sheets while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare food items according to recipes and production sheets
- Assist with general food prep and modified diet meals as needed
- Follow HACCP food safety and infection control guidelines
- Clean and operate kitchen equipment safely
- Complete production sheets and temperature logs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Some prior food service or cooking/prep experience required
- Healthcare food service experience is a plus
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally

- PRN: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
