WCRMC Receives Truck Donation from Moreland-Altobelli
Washington County Regional Medical Center is the proud recipient of a 2005 Ford F-150 truck that was donated to us from a new local engineering firm. Moreland-Altobelli (an atlas company) is a leading engineering and construction firm headquartered in Duluth, Georgia. They have recently opened an office here in Sandersville located in Kaolin Plaza next to Anytime Fitness. They employ 5 professionals at their Sandersville branch.
Moreland-Altobelli was in the process of replacing their fleet of inspection trucks when it was brought to their attention that the hospital had a 24-year old service truck in disrepair. The truck donated was scheduled to be taken out of service and sold off. Alan Smith, director of EMS, facilitated this donation.
Mr. Gratton was very generous in donating the vehicle free of charge. This donation saved the hospital approximately $3000.00 in repair costs as well as gave us a truck that we can be proud of when being seen in it. We want to thank Mr. Gratton and Moreland-Altobelli for this generous donation and let them know that this truck will be used to benefit the citizens of Washington County by helping to maintain the hospital’s daily operations.
